Al-Shouf Cedar Nature Reserve

Al-Shouf Cedar Nature Reserve is the largest of Lebanon’s nature reserves, it streches from Dahr Al-Baidar in the north to the Niha mountain in the south. In addition to Juniper and Oak forests, there are three magnificient Cedar forests in Maasser Al-Shouf , Barouk and Ain Zhalta. These Cedar forsets account for a quarter of the remaining Cedar forests in Lebanon , some trees are believed to be 2,000 years old. Shouf cedar website
